The Cork County Joint Policing Committee (JPC)

The Cork County Joint Policing Committee (JPC) has commenced the preparation of a 6 Year Plan in conjunction with An Garda Síochána and Cork County Council.

The function of the Cork County JPC is to serve as a forum for consultations, discussions and recommendations on matters affecting the policing of the Cork County Council administrative area.

The JPC plan is intended to be strategic; it will set priorities and objectives and will be action orientated. It will link with local plans and strategies, and will assist in supporting safety and quality of life in the community. It will focus on areas where cooperative and collaborative actions can add most value to the existing work of relevant stakeholders.
